A Study of Dawulun Coastal Environment Construction in Keelung / 基隆大武崙海岸環境營造之研究

碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 河海工程學系 / 104 / Both traditional coastal protection and costal environmental construction take disaster prevention as the main consideration. Using concrete seawalls, revetments and other hard engineering methods to solve the problem of coastal erosion causes severe persecution to coastal ecology and natural landscapes, and block a contact between people and sea. In recent years, with awareness of sustainable management and development of coast, coastal protection and environment construction not only protect people's lives but also take give consideration to goals including ecological balance, creating a beautiful natural landscape, providing a hydrophilic tourism and therefore achieve the long-term goal of sustainable management and development.
In addition to beautiful sea shore scenery, there are special fishing port culture, natural geology, DawuLun sand beach and other features in Keelung DawuLun beach. In recent years, the government actively promoted DawuLun beach tourism, strengthened the overall environment construction, and expect to meet the demand of coastal protection, landscape, ecology, recreation and so on. Since the studied region belonged to bay terrain, monsoon and typhoon easily lead to concentrate of wave and result in erosion and damage of coastal embankment.
Therefore, this paper mainly takes DawuLun Hai shore as a study case to review the different types of coastal protection program according to the present status, and in line with the concepts of overall disaster prevention, landscape, ecology and recreation environment. Then we discuss and select the optimum coast construction program with offshore embankment cooperating with artificial beach nourishment in coastal protection of studied region, and to further explore the surrounding landscape configuration, in connection with the nearby Lakes and Sea park and DawuLun fishing village culture, and plan the whole landscape configuration of the studied region to create a new North coast sightseeing highlights.
