Route Planning and Pre-trip Inspection Procedure for Operating Sailing Boats / 遊艇與帆船航程規劃與行前檢查流程之研究

碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 運輸科學系 / 104 / Taiwan is suitable for ocean development which has the coastline about 1,356 kilometers long. As the current policy for developing water recreation activities, lots of people join these activities without adequate knowledge and conceptions for operating boat.

The present study arranges a pre-trip program for yachts which are available to navigate in international waters. The first part "Route Planning" is based on such considerable items for port to port as weather forecasts, wind scales, tidal currents, temperatures, distances and directions of route planning, estimated time of sailing, nighttime sailing, and emergency response measures; second part "Pri-trip Inspection Process" means hull structure inspections, rigging equipments inspections, main and assistant engine's basic examinations, and safety equipment inspections.
