碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 航運管理學系 / 104 / Shipping, the key to economic development, plays a significant role in Taiwan. Meanwhile, prosperity of shipping is highly related to the participations of seafarer. Considering of the deficiencies of seafarer in recent years, Maritime and Port Bureau made positive provisions as producing advocacy advertisements. As has been noted, this thesis will explore the effects of advocacy advertisement and social information on navigation students’ willingness for being seafarer.
Students in navigation department at National Keelung Maritime Vocational High School participated in the study. Questionnaires were developed to survey their willingness. Descriptive Statistic Analysis , Reliability Analysis, Correlation Analysis, One-way ANOVA, Regression Analysis and Independent t-test were used to demonstrate the statistical relationships.
Major findings of this study are as follows:
1.Information given by teachers or classmates and perspectives of advertisement showed a significant relationship to navigation students’ willingness for seafarer.
2.Advocacy advertisement does have effects on the willingness of students.
3.Economic statements of students does have effects on their impressions of seafarer.
