碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 航運管理學系 / 104 / The global economy has remained stagnant and growing slowly in recent years, therefore, it has a great impact on maritime business in Taiwan. In view of this, the most efficient way to change this tough situation is to improve the maritime policies in Taiwan.
This research reviews maritime policies of Taiwan and main shipping countries in Asia, also maritime news from the Internet recent years. It hopes to offer a highly competitive and better maritime policy to Taiwan. The research will use the maritime policies to design an expert questionnaire. The research will use Quality Function Deployment and Importance and Performance Analysis methods to analyze the final outcome. It intends to find the most important maritime policies that need to be implemented and improved, for the reference of government while setting up its maritime policies.
According to the analysis of the house of quality, the research found out some important maritime policies, such as “how to promote the profit and value of the maritime business,” “how to improve the international cargo capacity,” and so on. The research hopes these maritime policies will have a great impact on the development of Taiwan’s maritime business.
