碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 電機工程學系 / 104 / With the wide application of advanced technology, generators and motor loads of large capacities of are used in the shipboard electric power system. Short circuit current may affect the system operation security severely when a three-phase short circuit fault occurs. In the system design phase, it is required that the fault currents in different buses be calculated to determine the proper interrupting capacities of protection devices. The main purpose of this thesis is to adopt the method of circuit transforming from the loop system into a network of radial type. Then based on Standard IEC 61363-1 the fault current are calculated under the two operating conditions with bus tie breakers open and closed respectively. The results will be helpful to the practices of fault current calculation for the shipboard electric loop power system.
