Incorporating Marine Education with The Arts and HumanitiesCurriculum in Elementary Schools / 海洋教育融入國小藝術與人文課程之研究

碩士 / 國立臺北教育大學 / 藝術與造形設計學系教學碩士班 / 104 / The motivation of this study inspired by teaching scene includes below three points; First of all, the students are expected to enhance the humanities of caring community through the arts education; The Second, carrying out a marine education with education connotation of "close the sea ", "know the sea", "love the sea"; The third, Implementation of an education to enhance the educational function for humanities. In order to meet the students' cognitive development stage, the study adopts action research method to plan a teaching program by using marine education blended into the arts and humanities for senior grade elementary students with community marine culture background.
This teaching program of the study incudes there dimensions of marine education as follows, the first is implementing field study for "close the sea "; the second is understanding the area of marine organisms and establishing marine conservation knowledge for "know the sea"; the third, is creating marine biological shape visual arts and holding marine conservation performing arts dance show for "love the sea”. Utilizing arts and humanities courses helps students to understand the community of marine culture, deepens the understanding of marine conservation, and enhances humanities f caring community marine culture.
After data collection, we use the triangular detection method to for data analysis and consolidation to understand the teaching effectiveness. The conclusions of this study include:
1. To develop a teaching program on Marine Education Blended into the Arts and Humanities for elementary school.
2. Marine education blended into the arts and humanities for elementary school has good learning effectiveness on knowledge, affection and skills.
3. Marine education blended into the arts and humanities for elementary school can increase teachers in the curriculum design, teaching strategies and professional improvement.
Finally, we propose the following two points for future research and suggestions:
1. Implementation of the 21st century arts educational concept to enhance humanities.
2. The use of arts education to enhance connotation t of "love the sea" in marine education.
