The indoor navigation for mobile robots with a laser range finder / 基於雷射測距之機器人室內導航技術

碩士 / 國立虎尾科技大學 / 資訊工程系碩士班 / 104 / With the trend of smart robots are using, the technology of indoor navigation is becoming an important research area. Traditional passive indoor navigation technologies, such the line leader, WIFI navigations and Image recognition, generally need beforehand indoor environment exploration. Therefore active technologies of indoor navigation are growing into the main stream. Common active indoor navigations include ultrasonic detection, infrared detection, and image recognition and laser range finder (LRF). Among these navigation methods, a laser range finder could supply the most exact data of the distance between robots and obstacles without the interferences of magnetic field and various lights.
In this research, we combine the embedded systems and laser range finder to do indoor robot navigation. Include map integration, 360 degrees scan technology, integrated navigation with obstacle avoiding and route planning, etc. Based on these researches, we propose a new and original indoor navigation method in our study.
