博士 / 中國文化大學 / 中國文學系 / 104 / The purpose of this study, that is aimed at exposing : First, what is the ocean of literature? Second, the ocean of literature in Taiwan, when to start? Third, Taiwanese literature and marine literary relations. Fourth, why is the ocean of literature until the 1990s did attention? Fifth, find the ocean Writers in Taiwan. Sixth, summarized the characteristics of marine literature.
The first chapter explained the motivation, frameworks, and research methods of this study.The second chapter introduced before 1945 Taiwan ocean written on the maritime history of Taiwan will have a preliminary understanding. The third chapter analysis of naval literature in the 1950s, focusing on the " Marine Life " magazine. Affected by the fighting literature, the theory and writings show what kind of marine style. The fourth chapter 1960s ocean poem, introduction " Genesis Poets Society " ocean of poetry. Chapter V marine novel in the 1970s, discusses the affected local literature, writing content and characteristics of marine novels. Chapter VI 1970s ocean poem, describes the "Big Ocean Poets Society .” Analysis of literary theory and marine poetry. Chapter VII of the ocean writing in the 1980s , discussion on local consciousness rise , marine novels of the 1970s changed in the 1980s. Chapter VIII of the coastal ecosystems of writing in the 1980s, to observe the rise of environmental awareness , since the rise of nature writing, how to make marine ecology writing produced. Chapter IX development of ocean literature of the 1990s, observe ocean rising awareness in the 1990s , Taiwan Ocean literature on how to be rediscovered. This chapter was spent mainly on discussing writing strategies of two successful authors, Hong-Chi Liao to reason their well acknowledgement since 1990’s. In brief, instead of giving a conclusion, this study was intended to inheriting from the past and furthermore, carrying on for the future. Hopefully there will be more ocean literature related research works to come.
