The Key Factors for Taiwan Banking Entry into the Mainland Market - A Case in Cross Strait Service Trade Agreement / 臺灣銀行業前進大陸市場之關鍵評估因素 -以海峽兩岸服務貿易協議觀點探討

碩士 / 中國文化大學 / 財務金融學系 / 104 / The transition of economic brings about the services rising in Taiwan. Under double pressure, market size and consume are too small, Taiwan and Mainland China signed the Cross Strait Service Trade Agreement. There are many development opportunities for corporates and commercial banking, but it have to face more risks, in addition, due to the scientific and technological progress the mode of Taiwan banking entry into the mainland market would choose different way. Therefore, this study will examine the five dimensions and twenty-one related factors sorted out from literatures, the dimensions include macroeconomics, cultures/politicians/legislation, corporates, industries and risk assessment, and connecting with the decision making.
First, aggregating the expert questionnaires to get information and using Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) to establish the criteria. Second, ap-plying Fuzzy Analytic Network Process (FANP) to calculate the weight of each factor and an-alyze the importance of relevant factors. In this study, we will assist Taiwan banking to make best decisions based on environmental factors, when they want to enter the mainland market.
