碩士 / 世新大學 / 資訊管理學研究所(含碩專班) / 104 / At the end of 2014, the Ministry of National Defense finished promoting the "Jingtsui Program," cutting the military forces from 240 thousand to 215 thousand people. Army officers represent military management and are in charge of leadership and command, or aide. Moreover, military strength is closely related to the job satisfaction of officers, so how to increase team unification under current organizational structure and leadership to decrease stress and improve job satisfaction is extremely important.
Navy officers in active service are the subjects in this study, and the relationships between leadership styles, job stress, and job satisfaction are explored. The influences of the variables on navy officers in active service were analyzed, and they were explored through questionnaire distribution and data analysis statistics.
The results of this study show that leadership styles and job stress are negatively correlated and are positively correlated with job satisfaction; job stress and job satisfaction are negatively correlated; finally, job stress and leadership styles and job satisfaction display a mediation effect. This shows that navy officers should take on leadership roles, actively discover the problems subordinates face in work and life, and immediately offer guidance. They also should properly allocate subordinate job responsibilities, and implement fair rewards and promotion systems. In addition, they should encourage subordinates to participate in training to enhance overall individual quality and professional abilities, which in turn increases the overall job satisfaction of navy officers.
