Assessing the Campsites of Offshore Islands via Green Key / 離島露營地之綠鑰匙評估

As long as you go camping with the right person, anywhere could be a great place to stay and be memorable. There are lots of elements to affect human’s behaviors, but the main factor is always about the intention. Going camping in outlying islands does make me deeply experience the uncanny workmanship of nature. It created this beautiful Formosa. Thus, we must have thankful and humble hearts to face and support our enviroment. This study is writing about the campsites of Samak, Liouciou campsite (Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area), Purple Ping, Geen Island campsite(East Coast National Scenic Area), Shan Lai Hills campsite, Penghu(Penhu National Scenic Area) The research method is based on the Green Key of Foundation for Environmental Education FEE. According to these three campsites’ development history and the results of the questionnaires, and so on. Final assessment of the project indicators and identification have checked by the researcher themselves. With assessing score analysis outlying islands campsites’ Green Key assessment findings show: Green Island campsite’s evaluation score is the highest of the three campsites. It’s quite sizable because of it is operated by Jaurih Hot Spring so that it has good institution for its employee training and also emphasizes the cleaning of their enviromemt. This study has shown that Purple Ping campsite can provid clear-cut information for visitors to fully understand it. It’s also the one which only can process the waste water well and use it again, and the treatment of sewage follows government’s rules. In 12 criterias, Green Island is leadind by 7, Shan Li Hills is leading by 5, and Liouciou is only leading by 2 in the 12 criterias. The whole study shows the highest score in the three campsites is Green Island, it got 790 pionts. The second one is Shan Li Hills,it got 760 points, and Liouciou is the lowest, it got 550 points.
