碩士 / 臺北市立大學 / 音樂學系音樂教學碩士學位班 / 104 / Heinrich Schütz (1585-1672), was one of the first Baroque composers, and the most important and beloved musician in German area before Johann Sebastian Bach.
The aim of this thesis is to research the music and performance of Schütz 's six compositions in “Kleine geistliches Konzert” including “Ein Kind ist uns geboren, SWV 302” , “Siehe, mein Fürsprecher ist im Himmel, SWV304”, “Ist Gott für uns, SWV 329”, “Wer will uns scheiden von der Liebe Gottes? , SWV 330”, “Die Stimm des Herren geht auf den Wassern, SWV 331”, “Jubilate Deo omnis terra, SWV 332” .This thesis is divided into five chapters, the chapters one is Introduction of this research; chapters two describe Baroque cultural background and the development of religious music, than follow the bibliography of Heinrich Schütz and his unique style of composition; chapter three discuss Venitia’s cori spezzati, his origin and development in Venice; chapter four provide the structure analyse of the six compositions; the final chapter is Conclusion.
