碩士 / 國立雲林科技大學 / 財務金融系 / 104 / This study investigates the bargaining power, revenue diversification and bank internationalization in Taiwan. Taiwan local banks established the oversea institutions between the years from 1994 to 2014 as a whole were considered to be the samples. This research use the Probit and Tobit model to understand the decision factors of oversea institution in banks, and Number of overseas institution on each variable. The findings show that higher deposit bargaining power would be to decision of oversea institution in banks, but revenue diversification is not the decision factor. Banks also have higher deposit bargaining power and revenue diversification will go to abroad and more oversea institution, The competition from international banks, higher deposit bargaining power and revenue diversification of the banks can not only reduce the risk on the business, it is the key to decision of oversea institution in banks.
