In recent years, these country have speeded up the pace of opening their internal market, Taiwanese enterprises encounter more competitive and volatile environment than ever. Therefore, the Subsidiary Initiative becomes more important to Multinational Corporations in Taiwan. However, most of previous studies on Subsidiary Initiative suggested that the Entrepreneurial Orientation of managers in multinational corporations is an important issue. But there were few corollaries that have little empirical research to support the relationship between Entrepreneurial Orientation and Isomorphism. In addition, Entrepreneurial Orientation were usually as a single concepts of the variables, this study will classify Entrepreneurial Orientation as three perspectives. There are Innovativeness, Proactiveness and Risk-taking. On the other hand, because the subsidiaries are in the overseas business environment and they have to face culture around the differences and restrictions , the Entrepreneurial Orientation will be limited to the external environment. So this study explores the relevance of different types of Entrepreneurial Orientation perceptions to Subsidiary Initiative and analyzes the interactions with Isomorphism.
The results are shown as followings. First, Innovativeness and Risk-taking positively affects Subsidiary Initiative .mimetic isomorphism negatively affects exploration learning. Second, the interaction between Innovativeness and mimetic isomorphism negatively affects Subsidiaries’ Initiative .Last, the interaction between Proactiveness and Normative isomorphism positively affects Subsidiaries’ Initiative .
