Continuing to follow the rule of thumb is often the result of poor results, The main issues that need to be overcome at present are how to combine technology with traditional aquaculture and use the data analysis to reduce the probability of false judgments.
We use a small piece of Arduino Uno R3 and connect to the color sensor to sense the current color of water. After the data through the White Balance, Arduino return the correct RGB values. We performed Multiple Regression Analysis of RGB and Dissolved Oxygen in order to calculate the correlation. A warning system is designed, and the regressive formula is deduced. Finally, the calculated value is used to do the warning.
Dissolved oxygen sensor equipment has long been available in the market circulation, but the high cost and the practical degree of the case is difficult to be used by farmers. However, the system we designed not only greatly reduces the cost, but also can monitor without manpower. It will able to truly apply to traditional aquaculture with more automated tools, and truly perform the value of technology.
