碩士 / 中華大學 / 行政管理學系 / 106 / The purpose of this study is to understand the Expatriate Policy in the Chip Design Industry of Foreign Company in Taiwan. Focusing on the rapid development of a company in response to globalization, companies have established overseas liaison offices in global locations. In the case of multinational corporations, many foreign companies are eager to invest in mainland China, so they have increased their expatriate personnel to support the development mission in China. Therefore, for companies, it is clear that the success or failure of overseas dispatch operations is critical to the long-term development of the company.

This study is dedicated to assisting companies to improve the absence of expatriate policies, and to plan for a personnel system that better meets the needs of a company’s vision, with a view to increasing the cohesion of employees, cooperating with the organization’s manpower needs and organizational culture (paying attention to corporate profits). Employees are able to adapt to their needs, their potentials are stimulated, and their relevant work experience is inherited. They pursue the win-win situation of organizational development, sustainable development of the company and career development of employee.

The research subjects include practical expatriates and potential expatriates from South Korean and Taiwanese who actually understand the actual ideas of employees through in-depth interviews. Based on the above findings, it has been found that the expatriate acculturation with a high degree of commitment to international outlook and career appointments is better. Therefore, when recruiting and selecting employees, it is suggested that the employees' personal wishes or assignment commitments should be regarded as an important criterion. And give complete training to ensure that enterprises complete the planning and implementation of each assignment project on the basis of mutual trust and mutual benefit.
