A Study on The Relationship Between The Motives of Recreational Scuba Divers and Realization of Diving Environment / 休閒水肺潛水者參與動機與潛水環境體認關聯性之研究

碩士 / 中華大學 / 科技管理學系 / 105 / Compatriots experienced a whole new realization with regard to open water leisure activities subsequent to Executive Tuan Affairs Council proposes 「Marine Sport Development Project」in 2002. Furthermore, People attaches importance to Recreational Scuba Diving after 2003. Specially, the length of coastline along Taiwan more than 1,600 kilometers and with the highest coverage of corals, because of such conditions, the ratio of participant is increasing by year.
The preliminary investigation of study is based on questionnaire survey which filled by scuba diving members of Taichung Underwater Federation. The members whose participating motives have strong connection between nature and society. The amount of questionnaire survey is 200 and recycled 156 effective questionnaires, the effective response rate is 78%. By using SPSS to proceed Descriptive Statistics Analysis, Single-Factor Variation Analysis, Independent t-test, and PPMCC to investigate current industrial development and to propose promoting suggestions to the future.
Conclusions of the study as follow:1.Participants from variable backgrounds have obvious different experiences and realization to diving condition;2.Participants from variable backgrounds show apparent discrepancies in 「Satisfaction Degree」;3.Participants have connection between diving condition and「Satisfaction Degree」.
According to research consults, proposing 3 suggestions to the government as below:
1.Distributing diving and relative industry decrees.
2.Strengthening environmental conservation of marine ecology and physical facilities in diving area.
3.Collaborating with nongovernmental organization to integrate correlative resources and information.
Three suggestions to the scuba diving industry as follow:
1.Intensifying management system and promoting instructors’ timber and teaching quality.
2.Market Price Position ought to meet consumers’ satisfaction.
3.Classifying consumer groups and drafting market promoting strategies for different types of group.
Two suggestions to the researchers thereinafter:
1.Broadening research target and range.
2.Assisting by quality research on 「Expert Interview」to implement in-depth realization and analysis.
