The Relationships among Destination Attractiveness, Place Attachment and Responsible Environmental Behavior: An Exploratory Study on the Zhuwei Fishing Harbor / 目的地吸引力、地方依附與負責任環境行為關係之研究-以竹圍漁港為例

碩士 / 大葉大學 / 休閒事業管理學系碩士在職專班 / 105 / This research aims to understand local residents’ current status of destination attractiveness, place attachment, and responsible environmental behavior of Zhuwei Fishing Harbor, and discusses “the relationship between destination attractiveness, place attachment, and responsible environmental behavior”, in order to further verify the effect of the destination attractiveness and place attachment on responsible environmental behavior. Convenience sampling is adopted to conduct a questionnaire survey, with a total of 395 retrieved valid samples. The empirical results show that: 1. A higher degree of’ destination attractiveness to local residents can further deepen the place attachment to Zhuwei Fishing Harbor; 2. Local residents’ stronger place attachment to Zhuwei Fishing Harbor signifies their more responsible environmental behavior; 3. A higher degree of destination attractiveness of Zhuwei Fishing Harbor to local residents denotes their more responsible environmental behavior; 4. The destination attractiveness and place attachment have positive influence on responsible environmental behavior; 5. The dimension of core attractiveness of destination attractiveness has the greatest influence on responsible environmental behavior.
Based on the above results, this research puts forward practical suggestions regarding a future research direction for the reference of relevant organizations and follow-up researchers.
