By the study shows it can't produce exclusive reaction, have the organsism compatibility,possesses edible safety and don't have any side effect. Therefore, it can extensively uses on the restoration and replacement materal on the organism hard organization. Hydroxyapatite is the mainly inorganic consititute parts on the bones and skeletion organization of human body. After it embeded on the human body, calcium and phosphorous will produce ionization from the surface of material and therefore to be absored by the human body oranisation. In addition, it will grow new organization. The study shows when the crystalline grain becomes thinner, the activity of organism is more higher.The mainly constitue parts of enamel of teeth is also Hydroxyapatite.
  The organism activity of ceramics possesses on the raw materials of Hydroxyapatite have the satisfied organism compatibility.when it embeded human body, it is not only safety, no toxicity but also transmit the growth of bone. This means new bones can by Hydroxyapatite embeded human body and combines raw bones. Then it will stimulates the growth of internal small opening coherence. In addition, when Hydroxyapatite embeded human body, it will connect together with interface organism to form Chemical bond. Therefore, Hydroxyapatite is the mainly inorganic material of the human bone studies.
  The component of Hydroxyapatite of fish scale and the skeleton of vertebrate is close to the component of inorganic teeth. It is also can connect with bone formation to form strong Chemistry. Therefore, it can extensively apply in the Biomedical area. Hydroxyapatite is also can as a bone or inducible factors of teeth. In the area health care of oral cavity, Hydroxyapatite is a satisifed mineralization of teeth,desensitization and whitening effect. Besides, the tooth paste of Hydroxyapatite material is the strong absorption effect on the saliva protein and Dextran. It can also decrease the dental bacterial plaque of oral cavity and promotes skin over of gingivitis. For dental caries and periodontal disease, it has a satisfied prevention effect.
  However, hydroxyapatite is a natural apatite mineral. The molecular formula is Ca5(PO4)3(OH) but commonly writes Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2 to show it is composed by the crystal structureof two molecule. Hydroxyapatite possess pure endmember of hydroxide .radical. OH-ion can be subsitituted by Fluoride, Chloride or Carbonate ion to form fluorapatite. Crystal system of hydroxyapatite is Hexagonal. The proportion is 3.08 and the Mohs hardness is five. Pure hydroxyapatite powder is white. However, natural hydroxyapatite will include brown, yellow or green. In addition, it is also can combine by artificial way and apply on the restoration of bone organisation. hydroxyapatite is the main component of human bone organization.
