碩士 / 佛光大學 / 公共事務學系 / 105 / All the countries in the world we would like to make all efforts to develop tourism to become one of the major economic sources of revenue. Our government has been allowed Chinese visitors since July 2008. Since the year 2010, Chinese tourists have replaced Japanese tourists. They have become the largest tourist group in Taiwan. Settled from more than 90,000 people in 2008 to 351 million in 2016, about almost 40 times the growth.People from the Mainland has amazing consumption ability and are one of the countries not gone unnoticed. Therefore, tour related industries such as hotels, travel agencies, and others tried their best to accommodate mainland tourists. But some Taiwanese have a negative impression towards the mainland Chinese. Even if the origin of the problem is irrational and has a necessity they blame the mainlanders. Although it's unfair, such controversy exists in Taiwan society. On the contrary, the hotel traders attitude towards the mainlanders exhibit a more positive approach. After all, the financial affair is what matters. Making a profit as their main objectives, in this case, cannot be met.
Jiaosi- said to be Taiwan's hot spring district has problems with it. In essence Taiwan's regulations on hot spring safety certification standards, Jiaosi area stands three percent of the total and because of that, this area is crowded during weekends. The research objectives are to study the hotel trade expectations with government perspective or actions towards the mainland tourists who visits and how it affects the place in this area.By conducting a deeper interview with eight hotel operators, A unified analysis of mainlanders staying at hotels in Jiaosi area and various aspects that produced advantages and disadvantages that affect the area and other problems were taken into consideration. For the development and planning in Jiaosi area, four points of conclusions are as follow:
1. The cost differences between mainlanders coming on a group tour and individually. Whether the hotel cost of rendering services to group tour lowered or the cost accepting free or individual tourist stayed the same or increased.
2. With the recent condition in Jiasi area, besides the hot spring, other ways to attract mainland tourist like its unique human culture and scenery, natural landscape and nearby town activities will do. The government standard should have complete supporting measures towards it.3. As more hotels are being built in this area, competitors worried about cutting prices would occur.4. By dispersing risk of sudden loss of mainland tourists, finding tourists from other countries as the source is the best way to avoid critical damage in business.
This research concluded are in the two follow-up suggestions: 1. Integrated chain style business result influence and new government imposed law.2. Jiaosi district future policy.
