碩士 / 國立高雄應用科技大學 / 工業工程與管理系碩士在職專班 / 106 / The global trade slowed down recently. Prices of ocean freight had fallen to its lowest point. Many shipyards lost money or even went bankrupt. Faced with such a severe environment, shipyards focus on how to improve their competitiveness gradually in case for need when the demand increase. Because Taiwan’s shipyards had no satellite factory, many materials, outfitting, and equipment are required to be purchased outside, which cause material costs high. Under this conditions, material management is extraordinary importance. Especially, outfitting preparation plays a more important role in shipyard supply chain. Outfitting preparation must be planed carefully to tie in with the production plan. If it can’t plan ahead and encounter the unexpected situation that can’t meet the demand, it will hurt the overall progress. Therefore, the main purpose of this study is to provide the shipyard with the factors that need to be considered when improving or establishing a shipboard outfitting preparation system.
This thesis applies AHP method to analyze. First, a hierarchical structure is established by relevant literature collection and interview with experts. Then several questionnaires and comments are provided by each professional in design, manufacturing, procurement, inspection, and management with shipbuilding related experience. Finally, the Expert Choice software is used to calculate weight of aspects and factors and prioritize the importance of each factors. It is found that the “policy aspects” and the “information aspects” are the two most important aspects. In the factor layer, the first seven are information policy, demand information, diversity of business source, delivery control, coordination of delivery, messages of graphics changed, and capabilities of management.
