碩士 / 國立高雄應用科技大學 / 資訊管理系碩士在職專班 / 105 / The wheel transportation relies on the carriage of raw materials from upstream and of finished goods to downstream in most enterprises. Somehow, management of wheel transportation is mostly operated manually with no assistance from an initiative information system. During transportation, the inventory of raw materials and finished goods managed by various units faces a data integration difficulty, and unable to assess the performance of sub-contracted transportation service effectively. The management of transportation therefore becomes an important issue of improving operating performance in enterprises.
In order to solve above difficulties, the purpose of this study is to provide an intelligent decision support system, equipped with decision ability of transportation management, to improve current inefficient performance caused by management of purchase/shipment, transportation, and labor arrangement.
This study integrates related documents of transportation management and business intelligence to provide an intelligent decision support system of transportation management that develops 5 major functions including management and analysis of purchase/shipment, vehicle arrangement, case study of transportation planning, basic data maintenance, and exception query. The result of benefit assessment indicates that participants give this system a high satisfaction credit, especially in management of purchase/shipment, transportation decision analysis supported by management of transportation.
