Octopus-Inspired Assembly of Nanosucker Arrays for Adhesion / 仿章魚奈米吸盤陣列於附著之應用

碩士 / 國立中興大學 / 化學工程學系所 / 105 / This research reports a scalable fabrication of non-close-packed silica colloidal crystal/polyethoxylated trimethylol propane triacrylate (ETPTA) composites on silicon wafer, by a spin-coating technology and followed by dry etching to form the specific structure (the mushroom structure). The silica colloidal crystals can be used as a template to create sub-micrometer-scale biomimetic sucker structure arrays on polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS). Due to the sucker adhesion mechanism, the as-prepared materials can adhere on either dry or wet surface. Moreover, the sub-micrometer-scale sucker exhibit strong adhesion on wet surface. Furthermore, the effect of sucker structure on adhesion is investigated in this study.
