Architecture and Music have been pursuing for the same aesthetics via similar vocabularies from antiquity to the present. They develop, influence and learn each other from a culture to the other.

To say music is an art that create the sense of space through the time; Architecture is an art that develop the sense of time via the space, vice versa.

There are six sections in this design thesis:

Chapter 3 Analysis
Chapter 4 Design Development
Chapter 5 Design Presentation
Appendix

This thesis aims to transform the aesthetics of Music to the design inspiration of a housing project through my analysis on the 2nd movement of Haydn String Quartet Op.76-3.
