碩士 / 國立成功大學 / 建築學系 / 105 / This study investigates the seismic capacity of a suspended transportation system in the cleanroom of a high-tech fab. By using numerical and experimental method, a seismic retrofit program is purposed and proved to be effective in reducing the displacement during earthquake. To calibrate numerical models and estimate connection strength, component tests were carried out. Experimental results indicated that the strength and stiffness of components used for retrofit has been improved. Finally, a series of full-scale experiments were conducted to verify the rigidity of the systems before and after retrofit. Numerical analysis based on experimental results indicated that the retrofit program reduce the seismic response of the system by 74%.
