碩士 / 國立高雄海洋科技大學 / 海事資訊科技研究所 / 105 / Virtual reality is a hot topic in recent years. Using virtual reality devices, users will be brought into created virtual environments. In the beginning, the development of the technology was limited by cost. However, virtual reality became mature along with improvements on hardware and software technologies. As we saw in the market, virtual reality based games have grabbed people’s attention. In addition, in many areas like health care and fire fighting, the technology was combined into their training systems, which can simulate real situations and therefore improve the efficiency of training and reduce mistakes and dangers happened. This study uses questionnaire to evaluate feasibility of applying virtual reality to security check of coast guard by using the usefulness, technicality, social influence and perceived value.
