碩士 / 國立高雄海洋科技大學 / 海事資訊科技研究所 / 105 / Ships carrying goods shall be in accordance with the physical characteristics of the goods as the stowage and securing of basic considerate factors for safety. When in maritime transport is not based on the physical characteristics of stowage and securing of cargoes, the navigating vessel changes the center of gravity and the acceleration force are the main factors causing collapse of goods and ship loss. In order to reduce the known main safety factors of carried goods on the area, IMO (International Maritime Organization, IMO) had developed " CCS CODE (Code of Safe Practice for Cargo Stowage and Se-curing, CCS CODE)" to provide the methods and facilities selected about se-curing and lashing goods. It is expected to reduce effect on ship's acceleration of cargo stowage and securing influence for ship’s owners.
The key factors of securing and lashing safety for ship's cargo are stowage methods in a reasonable amount of the physical characteristics of the goods, applied lashing facilities and adjusted the ship center of gravity before sailing. This research focuses on the steel coil as non-standardized goods that stowage factor is small and sinking cargo affects the ship center of gravity on navigation stability greatly. To discuss the improvements of the securing stowage device and system collects the case of carrying goods by sea transportation accident and use with logical tree analysis. It exists the dependency relationship between selected ship type and cargo hold type on stowage and securing.
