A Study on Development Perception of Fishing Insurance and Future Expectation Development from the Viewpoint of Fishing Workers / 漁船工作者對於漁船保險發展認知與未來期望發展之研究

碩士 / 國立高雄第一科技大學 / 風險管理與保險研究所 / 105 / This research mainly discusses the future development of the marine insurance of fishing vessels, such as "the cognition towards fishing vessel insurance" and "the expectation towards government subsidy on fishing vessel insurance". Under multivariate statistical analysis such as independent samples t test, one factor anova test, and explorative factor analysis, this paper fully analyzes the factors that affect the development of marine insurance, including "the cognition towards fishing vessel insurance", "the expectation towards government subsidy on fishing vessel insurance", and “basic personal information”. Under factor analysis, we have obtained 5 dimensions of the cognition towards fishing vessel insurance, including the cognition towards "business risk of fishing vessel insurance", "customer demand of fishing vessel insurance", "service project of fishing vessel insurance", "current status of fishing vessel insurance", and "overall expectation of fishing vessel insurance", and 4 dimensions of the expectation towards government subsidy on fishing vessel insurance, including expectation towards “payment level”, “payment adjustment”, “payment detail”, and “payment approach”.
After analyzing the test result, we have found that women have a higher degree of agreement for "the cognition towards service project of fishing vessel insurance" than men. Those who ages between 50 and 60 have a higher degree of agreement for “the cognition towards customer demand of fishing vessel insurance” than other age groups. Those whose fishing vessel is located at the E operation zone have a higher degree of agreement for the cognition towards “business risk of fishing vessel insurance”, “customer demand of fishing vessel insurance”, “service project of fishing vessel insurance”, and “overall expectation of fishing vessel insurance” than those whose fishing vessel is located at other operation zones. Those whose fishing vessel has a deadweight tonnage of 50-80 metric tons have a higher degree of agreement for “the cognition towards customer demand of fishing vessel insurance” than those whose fishing vessel has a deadweight tonnage of less than 20 metric tons. Those whose fishing vessel ages more than 15 years have a higher degree of agreement for “the cognition towards customer demand of fishing vessel insurance” than those whose fishing vessel ages less than 5 years. Those who have worked for more than 30 years have a higher degree of agreement for “the cognition towards customer demand of fishing vessel insurance” than those who have worked for less than 10 years. Those whose average annual income is more than NT$200,000 have a higher degree of agreement for “the cognition towards current situation of fishing vessel insurance” than those whose average annual income is between NT$50,001 and NT$100,000.Those who are married have a higher degree of agreement for “the expectation towards payment details” than those who are not married yet. Those who have an educational background of elementary school and below have a higher degree of agreement for “the expectation towards payment adjustment” than those who have an educational background of senior high school and above.Captain and Ship Owner have a higher degree of agreement for “the expectation towards payment approach” than regular sailor. Those who have fishing vessel with a deadweight tonnage of 80~100 metric tons have a higher degree of agreement for “the expectation towards payment adjustment” than those who have fishing vessel with a deadweight tonnage of 50~80 metric tons. Those whose fishing vessel age more than 5 years have a higher degree of agreement for “the expectation towards payment adjustment” than those whose fishing vessel age less than 5 years. Those who have worked for over 30 years have a higher degree of agreement for “expectation towards payment adjustment” than those who have worked for less than 10 years. Those who have an average annual income of more than NT$200,000 have higher degree of agreement for “expectation towards payment level” and “expectation towards payment approach” than those who have an average annual income of less than NT$100,000.
