Corporations operate in the VUCA environment; volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity. Transformation, change, is now a vital task to adapt to the challenging environment. In a context of MNC, the issue becomes how the headquarters supports the transformation of local subsidiaries and how a subsidiary simultaneously implement the strategy formulated by headquarters and adapt to the local environment as well. This study attempts to probe how Taiwan subsidiary of GE develop solutions and market responsiveness in the process of organizational restructure. Through the in-depth study of Taiwan branch of GE Healthcare, challenges in the restructuring processes are identified and how the organization respond to these challenges are addressed as well. Particularly, how GE develop an organizational culture to enhance its flexibility and responsiveness are elaborated.
