碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 航運管理學系 / 105 / Since the highest prosperity that the global shipping industry ever reached in 2008, the shipping market has run into the recession for over ten years, what’s worse, the Baltic Dry Index dropped into the lowest point on February 10th, 2016. If the small and medium enterprise in Taiwan could do the layout at this market situation so far to await for another recovery, it is truly chance to our shipping industry.
Because the shipping belongs to capital intensive industry, it is crucial that new companies not only should gather the capital by themselves but understand as well as take good use of how much resource which the bank system and government could support, In order to develop the shipping industry, the role played by government is also essential relatively; thus, there shall be somewhat advantage of all concerned polices to the shipping of every competitive century we could make in good use.
This article takes analysis first by doing the questionnaire so as to realize the circuit stats of the acknowledge and the used of the shipping companies to the government fund and then does the deep interview with all concern experts by relative conceptualities to comprehend the requirement of our local shipping companies last but not least, the conclusion was briefly listed as the following,
1.We still take an important real at worldwide shipping industry with our study development and should have continues grow while other competitive centuries also make gain ground.
2.It’s relatively easy to enter the shipping industry by the second hand bulk vessel, which is suitable for new coming shipping companies and to make the particular shipping industry of small and medium enterprise.
3.Although there have been some fund that could be taken advantage of to the shipping development, there still few companies acknowledge and take good use of, meanwhile, due to the poor concordance from the different parties, it is vulnerable to expand our shipping industry.
