碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 航運管理學系 / 105 / Meeting the customers’ needs is the key to developing sustainably for the ocean freight forwarders. Therefore, it is important that the ocean freight forwarders maintain the partnership with their shippers. The purpose of this study is to understand how the quality of work life and human resource risk influence the partnership. The research findings presented were based on regression analyses, and therefore yielded the following: (1) the higher degree of the job satisfaction, stress at work and working condition is, the lower human resource risk the ocean freight forwarder has; (2) the higher degree of the job satisfaction and working condition is, the closer the partnership between ocean freight forwarder and the shippers is; (3) the lower human resource risk the ocean freight forwarder has, the closer the partnership between ocean freight forwarder and the shippers is; (4) the relationship between the job satisfaction, the working condition and the partnership may well be facilitated via human resource risk. In addition, using the exploratory factor analysis to identify four human resource risk categories, i.e. employee work ability risk; legal risk; employee behavior risk; work environmental hazard risk.
