碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 環境生物與漁業科學學系 / 105 / This thesis organized and reported family Bopyridae that contains 6 subfamily. 27 species of bopyrids in 25 genera from Taiwan are presented, including two new genera and 4 new species. Two new genera belong to subfamily Argeiinae and subfamily Keponinae respectively. Nine new records including Allokepon Markham, 1982, Kepon Duvernoy, 1840, Megacepon George, 1947, Procepon Shiino, 1937, Asymmetrorbione Boyko, 2003, Orbione Bonnier, 1900, Gigantione Kossmann, 1881 and Progebiophilus Codreanu & Codreanu, 1963.
There are 28 hosts of bopyrid from Taiwan, all belongs to Decapoda. 7 hosts of bopyrid are recorded for the first time, including Pontophilus bidentatus (de Haan, 1844), Heterocarpus hayashi Crosnier, 1988, Arcania quinquespinosa Alcock & Anderson, 1894, Lissocarcinus laevis Miers, 1886, Plagusia squamosa (Herbst, 1790), Sicyonia inflexa (Kubo, 1949), and Sicyonia japonica Balss, 1914.
In Taiwan, the distribution of zoogeographical, from north to south are the distribution of bopyrid isopods, only 3 specimen collected from Green Island, Penghu and Little Ryukyu.
