A Study on the High Turnover Rate of Volunteer Soldiers - Case of Coastal Patrol Directorate General / 志願役士兵高離職率探究-以海岸巡防總局某直屬大隊為例

碩士 / 世新大學 / 行政管理學研究所(含博、碩專班) / 105 / In recent years, low-birth has led to some effects, such as the stereotype to military man, non-free characteristic in troop, uncertain military pension. Volunteer soldiers in the Coast Guard Administration were also affected, and this issue became particularly important.
This study used qualitative research method to study the reasons why volunteer soldiers leave, and focused on the factors of turnover intention, job satisfaction,and organizational change.
The findings were summarized:
First,volunteer soldiers’ have high turnover intention, when they undertake high pressure.
Second, volunteer soldiers are unsatisfied with some of the management in the units they serve.
Third,according to government policy, the Coast Guard Administration will be reformed, and the organizational change affects volunteer soldiers’ willingness to stay in military.
