碩士 / 國立臺北科技大學 / 互動媒體設計研究所 / 105 / Nowadays due to rapid modern technology development, our daily life heavily relies on computers and networks. Many electronic devices included smart phone gradually evolve from larger to smaller in size. Despite of the dramatic changes, the ultimate goal of technology achievements still serves for the human’s need. The smart mobile devices on the map information can be obtained by various panoramic cameras, which previously were only gathered through the Google Street View Vehicles. New panoramic mobiles can easily help people to navigate environment information through the most similar photo-visions displayed in front. The purpose of this study is to explore the application of panorama information with mobile devices and help users easily to experience and comprehend the environment al navigation through interactive devices.
Two sets of navigation system for mobile devices were operated in the study. The field survey and Technology Acceptance Model questionnaire analysis to investigate the users’ personal experiences were conducted on the campus tours in the National Taipei University of Technology. The results show that according to the questionnaire experiment in Web version of panoramic navigation system and LBS-APP Panorama Navigation system, the users acceptance of both systems have a good median value, while LBS-APP has a relatively high acceptance. In addition, the users can more easily find the target when combining with a panoramic map in the navigation fields.
The study is based on the in-depth interviews and experimental results of users’ survey. The research presents a new system of correcting orientation, the integration of innovative technologies, and the progressive interactive navigation the panorama and Innovative interaction modes. The integration of panorama and innovative interaction system can help the visitors to experience a better comprehensive navigation.
