Performance Study On Elliptic-Type Finned-Tube Heat Exchanger / 橢圓管型鰭管熱交換器性能研究

碩士 / 國立臺北科技大學 / 冷凍空調工程系所 / 105 / During the last several decades, fin type heat exchanger has been widely used in much area popularly, including heating, air conditioning, HVAC, and refrigeration. Because the effectiveness of heat exchanger depend upon the efficiency of the fin attaches on the tube, it have particularly used in air condition system for cooling or warming.
This study focus on theoretical analysis and experimental method to be concerned with the performance of ellipse and round type heat exchanger, analyzed the effect and comparison in high humidity, standard, and heating condition.
In this research, the results revealed that the difference of pressure drop, heat exchange quantity, heat transfer coefficient, Reynolds No., and Nusselt No. of the ellipse type heat exchanger, and compared to the different effectiveness of tests with the velocity of forward direction rise up (1~5 m/s).
The result of experimental analysis showed that circular-fin type heat exchanger is better than oval-fin type heat exchanger in pressure drop and thermal conductivity. Moreover, oval-fin type heat exchanger, comparing to axial ratio (Ar), the thermal conductivity per pressure drop of Ar=3.1 is up to 1.08 times greater than Ar=2.8, is 1.24 times greater than Ar=2.5, and is 2.6 times greater than circular-fin type heat exchanger. The efficiency of oval-fin type heat exchanger is better than circular-fin type heat exchanger, and to improve the efficiency of fin tube type heat exchanger.
Comparing the pressure drop in circle pipeline and oval pipeline, the thermal conductivity of oval-fin type heat exchanger is 20-33.03 % higher than circular-fin type heat exchanger under standard condition, is 27.64-28.57 % higher under heating condition, and is 27.76-29.73 % lower under high-wet condition.
