碩士 / 中華大學 / 運輸科技與物流管理學系 / 106 / For the coming aging society, an advanced and comprehensive policy should be designed to fulfill the health care, long-term care, basic living life, supporting network, lderly-people re-contribution, sporting and leisure activities, and transportation demands of the elderly people to face the family and life style change, social value changes etc. Providing accessible moving spaces has become an important issue since the increasing of the elderly people. For the requests of the disable people, it is necessary to improve traffic and transportation environments. However, transportation services are not easily to be stored and separated into parts to satisfied the requests of specific groups respectively. Most transportation services are public and opened. Therefore, the universal design of the accessibility for transportation systems is getting more and more important. The designed transportation systems must consider the requests of the disable people combining with the requests of the normal people. This study aims to analyze the transportation demands of the elderly people in the policy of “Long-term Care 2.0.” Through the questionnaire survey and analysis, several conclusions are stated as follows:
(1)Most elderly people take public transportation systems as their trip services. Therefore, the discount tickets or free tickets of public transportation should be offered to help and encourage the elderly people taking the public transportation systems.
(2)Most elderly people cannot drive car by themselves. They usually need to be taken care by other normal people.
(3)For the transportation safety, the government should provide a good plan of accessible transportation services for the elderly people.
(4)The study develops a transportation service pattern for the A-B-C levels of transportation service in the “Long-term Care 2.0” policy. It should be helpful in the development of the transportation service systems in the “Long-term Care 2.0” system in the future.
