碩士 / 建國科技大學 / 土木與防災研究所 / 106 / There are six offshore sites of south west of Taiwan to be assessed their sea bed slope stabilities. This sites include Xiaoliuqiu, Yuan-An Ridge, Pointer Ridge, Palm Ridge, Four Way Closure Ridge, and Formosa Ridge. The isotropically consolidated undrained triaxial (CIU) test results show that effective friction angle (φ’) and cohesion (c’) of these sites are: (1) Xiaoliuqiu: φ’=15°~28° and c’=6~20kPa; (2) Yuan-An Ridge: φ’=23°~24° and c’=8~17kPa; (3) Pointer Ridge: φ’=23°~28°and c’=3~7kPa; (4) Palm Ridge:φ’=23°and c’=4.5kPa. Due to lack of soil specimen obtained from the Four Way Closure Ridge and Formosa Ridge, theirinput data for slope stability analysis wereused strength parametersof Yuan-An Ridge and Pointer Ridge.The Pingtung earthquake record occurredon December 2006 are also adopted to be input data. In accordance with the outputs of slope stability analysis, the selected sites of Xiaoliuqiu, Yuan-An Ridge, Pointer Ridge, and Palm Ridge sites are stable under normal or Pingtung earthquake condition.The Four Way Closure Ridge and Formosa Ridges analyze in a conservative manner. Analysis results can be referenced after obtaining their soil parameters.
