The concept of “Sponge City” has been proposed as an ecological construction that emphasizes the integration of natural environments and facilities. In this study the campus of Da-Yeh university was investigated as a research area. Exploring the students' understanding on the topic as well as effectiveness of the sponge campus facilities were carried out. Questionnaire survey was applied to investigate the cognition and satisfaction on sponge campus of Da-Yeh university. The content of the questionnaire includes three aspects, i.e. the establishment of sponge campus concept, the installation of sponge campus facilities, and the promotion of the environmental education of sponge campus concepts. Using SPSS statistical analysis to understand the degree of cognition and satisfaction of students at Da-Yeh university for sponge campus. IPA attribute matrix analysis of advantages and disadvantages of sponge campus concept. In the results of the attribute matrix, the vast majority of students have poor average awareness and satisfaction (recognition) of the sponge campus. The purpose of this study is to understand the degree of cognition and satisfaction of students at Da-Yeh university with regard to sponge campus. The development is suitable for the characteristics of the school's sponge campus and enhance the school's high-quality learning environment.
