碩士 / 逢甲大學 / 都市計畫與空間資訊學系 / 106 / This study aims to discuss how to establish zoning mechanism of conservation zone indicting a sensitive land in an urban planning area. A case study area, the Taichung Harbor Special District Plan, is applied to show how this mechanism works. The land suitability analysis is employed to classify the case study area into conservation and non- conservation zones conducted by four types of sensitive land, hazard, culture, resource and other sensitivities and entropy weighting method is applied to calculate the weight for each type of sensitive land. Then, each type of sensitive land, as a layer in GIS software, is gridded into 25 X 25 m cells and the topology overlay functions are applied to calculate the weighted sum value of each cell. The empirical results show that the threshold value of sensitive values that are utilized to classify sensitive land plays an important role to categorize conservation zone. A lower threshold value will lead a fail achievement for conservation objective. It can be safely said that a lower sensitive value of land is much suitable to categorize as a non-conservation zone.
