Application of river model to evaluate the effectiveness of wastewater sewer overtake on the improvement of water quality in key rivers in Taiwan / 應用河川模式評估污水下水道接管對台灣重點河川水質改善之成效

碩士 / 逢甲大學 / 水利工程與資源保育學系 / 106 / Abstract
Rivers are very important water resources for Taiwan. Regardless of water for people livelihood, water for agriculture, or even business, water is related. In recent years, due to the rising awareness of environmental protection, the people and the government have started to care about the water quality. There were many early animal husbandry issues. Wastewater from agriculture, agriculture and even industry is directly discharged into rivers, resulting in deterioration of water quality. As a result, the amount of water resources that can be used directly is getting less and less, and due to the topography and climate conditions in Taiwan, the amount of water allocated to each person in Taiwan is reduced. Become the 18th country in the world that lacks water.
This study selected eight key rivers in Taiwan, covering the rivers from northern Taiwan to southern , and hoped to use the WASP model to simulate water quality and verify the rationality and feasibility of the model and verify the water quality improvement the model. The plan seeks to find a better improvement plan from the proposed plan.
It can be known from the simulation results that Nantunxi, Zhuoshuixi, Aihe and Xinhuweixi are more polluted because of the upstream boundary, so the reduction of the upstream boundary can have good results. Freshwater River, Laojiexi, Errenxi and Beigangxi Drainage is the main source of pollution, so direct reduction of pollution can effectively improve river water quality.
