To study that why companies move toward to internationalize, and how to direct investment overseas, how to have a better understanding of the select the international joint venture partners; And how the performance of the parent company effect to the strategy of joint venture or merger.
Different investment mode will affect the parent company integrate synergy with the overseas subsidiaries, and effectively reduce the uncertainty of the parent company's market and company organization.The main purpose of this research is to study that how to companies select the direct overseas investment mode, how to have a better understanding of select international joint venture partners, also how the performance of the parent company affect the investment model for joint ventures, the mergers, and acquisitions in order to provide the better choice of overseas investment.
The reasons why the joint venture parties are willing to joint ventures and joint cooperate are to consider the benefit of each other's business. It may achieve expand the sales market, business diversification, obtain funds, or share risks, more likely to acquire the other's technology, patent and intellectual property rights…etc.
The focus of this research is to study that strategic alliances, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions of companies, to apply on company’s decisions of overseas investment business models.In the future, this research will help to select or transfer to the different overseas investment business models in order to avoid risks, resolve the impact of cultural differences, or achieve specific goals. Those research information will be a future reference.
