A Study of Key Quality Factors for Raising Crystal Shrimp: An Application of Quality Function Deployment / 水晶蝦養殖關鍵品質因素之研究:品質功能展之研究:品質功能展開法之應用

Plenty of strains expressing excellent characteristics had been innovated and incubated. Therefore, the purchase behavior of buyer was dissimilar comparing to terminal purchase in aquarium shop. Enthusiast and specialist now purchase crystal shrimp under diversified environment and transparency information. Previous research focusing on purchase strategy including function, brand and service for crystal shrimp was seldom found. Initially, this research discusses major decision elements for consumption of crystal shrimp using expert interview and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). This purpose is followed by Quality Function Deployment (QFD) matrix including technique specialization and how does specialization satisfy demand of customer. The result indicate that fertility is the major concerns on customer’s demand and followed by appearance of crystal shrimp. Finally, customer considers brand image and service. In terms of technique specialization on crystal shrimp breeding and custom service, factors listed in order of importance: incubation environment, equipment, marketing and service. The research revealing decision-making factor to purchase crystal shrimp was defects. This research indicates demand and concern of customers to crystal shrimp associated industry to support the purchase and marketing strategy for practitioner as the reference for future entrance of the market.
