Study on Photocatalytic Properties of Nitrogen-doped Titanium Dioxide Microspheres Prepared by Using Sodium Alginate Template / 以海藻酸鈉模板法製備摻雜氮 之二氧化鈦球之光催化性質研究

碩士 / 國立高雄應用科技大學 / 化學工程與材料工程系碩士在職專班 / 106 / In this study, the precursor solution was prepared by mixing with Urea、Titanium n-butoxide (Ti(OBu)4), magnetic powder in sodium alginate to synthesis nitrogen-doped TiO2 micro/nano-microsphere via template method.
Use the syringe to inject the precursor solution into the zinc nitrate hexahydrate solution and then collected the micro/nano-microspheres. The micro/nano-microspheres were calcined at 550℃ to remove the polymer parts.
The nitrogen-doped TiO2 micro/nano-microspheres were characterized by thermogravimetric analysis instrument, field emission scanning electron microscopy instrument, Specific Surface Area and porosity Analyzer, X-ray diffraction instrument, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy instrument.
The photocatalytic activities experiment of nitrogen-doped TiO2 micro/nano-microsphere samples under the 664nm of visible light were estimated by measuring the Photodegradation rate of methylene blue in aqueous solution.
The experimental results show that the nitrogen-doped titanium dioxide are anatase phase crystals with an energy gap value of 1.98~2.09 eV. In the photodegradation experimental of methylene blue. The Nitrogen-doped titanium di-oxide can reach 97 % degradation in 180 minutes, and the best photodegradation efficiency is the samples with nitrogen-doped concentration of 10% in this study.
