Electrochemical Hydrogen Evolution Reaction Assisted by Time-Varying Magnetic Field / 變動磁場輔助電解水產氫

碩士 / 明志科技大學 / 化學工程系碩士班 / 106 / This study focused on alkaline water electrolysis to produce hydrogen gas in a varying magnetic field. The experiment used several electrodes, including platinum, FTO and TiO2/FTO. We used AFM and SEM to obtain the cathode surface morphology. It was found that the surface through blade coating were rough while that through spin coating were relatively flat. The electrolysis experiment shows that the impedance increased with applying a fixed magnetic field or a varying magnetic field. The production of hydrogen gas could be enhanced with increasing the frequency of the magnetic field. Furthermore, the change in current density corresponded to the desorption of hydrogen gas from the working electrode.
