碩士 / 國立暨南國際大學 / 經濟學系 / 106 / Focusing on school-age students, explore factors that may affect leaving school. By applying a multinomial Logit regression model, an empirical analysis was performed to analyze that the type of leaving school has not arrived at school for three days without reason, suspend school, transfer and give up or abolished of student status; the factors affecting the situation of leaving schools, such as being at work, leaving school and leaving home, leaving school at home and other the situation of leaving schools. The empirical results indicated that type of leaving school, School district, the establishment of the school, family situation, student identity and the reason of leaving school have significant influences on not arrived at school for three days without reason, transfer and give up or abolished of student status in comparison to suspend school. The empirical results indicated that status of leaving school, gender, the establishment of the school, school levels, family situation, student identity and the reason of leaving school have significant influences on decisions concerning work, leaving school and leaving home, and other the situation of leaving schools in comparison to leaving school at home.
