Application of X-Band Radar to Monitor Sea Surface Oil Spill-A case study of TS Taipei stranded event / 應用X波段雷達監測海表面油污 -以德翔貨輪擱淺事件為例

碩士 / 國立高雄海洋科技大學 / 海洋環境工程研究所 / 106 / In this paper, the marine environment radar monitoring vehicle built by the Coastal Water and Environment Center of Kaohsiung University of Marine Science and Technology was used to conduct real-time monitoring of the waves, currents and oil in the coastal waters of Shimen District, New Taipei City, mainly using Norwegian MIROS. Develop the Oil Spill Detection system for monitoring.
The Miros OSD radar is compared with the data buoy observation data, which shows that there is a high correlation between the measured wave heights. In the ocean current monitoring, the current variation characteristics measured by the OSD are consistent with the local tidal variation characteristics. In terms of measurement, the distribution of oil pollution obtained by the OSD radar is compared with the images of satellites and drones provided by the National Central University, show that the position of the oil is consistent with the distribution results
