碩士 / 國立高雄海洋科技大學 / 航運管理研究所 / 106 / To meet various needs of customers, Ocean Freight Forwarders start from the simple sea and air transportation, nowadays extend service of field to customs clearance and logistics from door to door which so called through-train service. Under such circumstance, they have to set up their own overseas offices or cooperate with overseas agents considering the financial factors and/or the local political situations. However, there are some risks in the mutual cooperation which may lead to financial problem or bankruptcy.
This research is for Risk Analyses of Operating Overseas Agencies by Ocean Freight Forwarders, identify risk factors through literature and expert interviews, and through expert questionnaire by the level of analysis (Analytic Hierarchy Process, referred to as AHP). Analyze the weight of each risk factor. The result is that,In the risk structure in order 「Marketing risk of operation」, 「Personnel risk of operation」and 「Risk of company management 」.The first three of the key risk factor weights are 「Vicious collapse by overseas agencies 」, 「The risk of bill of loading」 and 「Overseas Agencies Intentional behavior」.
