碩士 / 國立中山大學 / 海洋環境及工程學系研究所 / 106 / Geotextile tube has become one of the commonly used coastal protection methods in recent years. Because of its simple construction, low environmental impact and low cost, often used as a jetty, offshore breakwaters, bank protection and other coastal structures. However, the geotextile tube is currently placed in the sea, and its stability and protective effects are still less relevant. This study uses the hydraulic model test to compare the difference in protective properties between traditional armor blocks and geotextile tube. The assessment conducted under regular swell conditions and typhoon storm waves for the topics of (a) construction stability by changing the size of geotextile tube; (b) wave dissipation, (c) beach morphology changes, and (d) wave run-up.
