The influence of the proactive personality of expatriates on overseas adaptation, the mediating effect of cultural intelligence. / 外派人員的主動性人格對海外適應影響-以文化智商為中介效果

碩士 / 國立臺灣師範大學 / 科技應用與人力資源發展學系 / 106 / The globalized generation is coming, rapid-flowing generations of information, and links increasingly close between countries to countries, companies continue to develop overseas markets and expand overseas business territory. Therefore, the selection and adaptation of expatriates is bound to be very important issue. In this study, it is discussed whether the person with more proactive personality of the expatriate has a higher cultural intelligence, when expatriates adapt to overseas, they have a significant correlation between cultural IQ and overseas adaptation. Moreover, it is discussed with relevance between the three.

This study is based on the expatriate personnel who are currently or have been stayed in abroad. Company is based on Taiwanese companies to other countries. However, expatriates are assigned to different places around the world, the study used online questionnaire. The online questionnaires were distributed and 125 valid questionnaires were collected. After analyzing the statistical hypotheses of this study, we learned that the following research findings proactive personality and cultural intelligence quotient are positively correlated; cultural intelligence and overseas adaptation are positive. Proactive personality have a positive impact on overseas adaptation and a full mediating effect with cultural intelligence.
