碩士 / 國立臺灣師範大學 / 健康促進與衛生教育學系 / 106 / The aim of this study was to investigate the behavioral intentions of seafarers in a shipping company in Taipei in preventing metabolic syndrome and its related influencing factors. A cross-sectional investigation method was used. Research tools included basic personal data, metabolic syndrome knowledge scale, prevention of metabolic syndrome attitude scale, prevention of metabolic syndrome self-efficacy scale, and prevention of metabolic syndrome health behavior scale, etc. A total of 200 formal questionnaires were issued. In this case, 170 valid questionnaires were recovered, and the effective questionnaire recovery rate of 85% was summarized as follows:
First, the study subject's knowledge of metabolic syndrome is good, and the attitude toward preventing metabolic syndrome is positive. Prevention of metabolic syndrome self-efficacy and health behavior are all in the upper-middle level.
Second, the prevention of metabolic syndrome self-efficacy and health behavior will be significantly different because of the level of education and seafarers 's qualifications. Among them, the education level is higher than that of high school (inclusive), and the seniority is lower than that of seafarers.
Third, health behaviors and age, prevention of metabolic syndrome attitudes, and prevention of metabolic syndrome were significantly positively correlated with self-efficacy. When the age of the study subjects was greater, the more positive the prevention of metabolic syndrome and the greater the self-efficacy of prevention of metabolic syndrome, the more healthy the behavioral performance. good.
Fourth, prevention of metabolic syndrome self-efficacy can effectively predict healthy behavior and explain 61.9% of the total variance.
